Things that make Nottingham a great night out!

Lets face it we’ve all had our fair share of messy and not so messy nights in Notts, whether you like to party until you drop in INK, be the last one standing after a bar crawl or rather enjoy a cosy bar, here are some of the best venues to go to and check out and trust me you’re going to want to read to the end on this one.

Rock City

I’m going to have to start with the good old Rock City, not only do they offer amazing live gigs, their club nights are one to remember (or in some cases not remember…)

There are some upcoming live music from a number of different artists such as The Rasmus, The Psychedelic Furs, Crucast Indoor festival with Darkzy, Skepsis, BRU-C, Gary Numen and more!
Alongside great gigs they also put on amazing club nights, Get Lucky Fridays is definitely one to mention, as the name suggests every Friday you get to hear the best chart music of today with a little mixture of classics thrown in, and to top it off you can enjoy with Rock City’s signature cocktails at just £2.50! If you’re a student, don’t worry, Rock City is going to be great for you too as its STUDENT NIGHT every Thursday, meaning 2-4-1 drinks to enjoy in 3 different rooms.

With their out of this world sound system, Stealth was quick to take over the scene in Nottingham. Being able to proudly show off their variety of underground house & techno along their drum & bass, grime, breakbeat and hip hop they evolve every year and keep up with the latest music trends. Every Saturday you could be taking part in a collaboration between two of Nottingham’s best clubs: Stealth vs Rescued with five rooms, 6 bars and even a Caribbean BBQ it won’t be hard to make memories. However, if you are more of a 90s anthem person then Stealth also offers nights out with different tunes and a range of different listings such as the Kevin & Perry Go Large event on the 18th of October.

Pub Crawls

If you rather enjoy a pub crawl there are plenty of great, old and new pubs to go about, which you could find at the Nottingham Camra with options for various routes such as; Nottingham Railway station to Nottingham Castle, Angel Row & Market Square and Hockley are just to name a few of many options. Pubs and bars include Ye Old Trip To Jerusalem, Crafty Crow, Bar 44 and many many more, Visit http://www.nottinghamcamra.org/pub-crawls.php to find out more and get ready made routes to use.

Often people need a classy bar to chill out and grab a few cocktails with some friends and we haven’t forgot about this either. Revolution in the Cornerhouse offers Happy hour, 2-4-1 cocktails, Gin, as well as vegan and vegetarian friendly drinks, the dress code is smart/casual so no sportswear! Another great spot is The Alchemist, just as the name suggests you can find some fabulous concoctions. Cucamara is also a great one to visit with good offers such as; Cocktail, Jungbomb plus 2 Shots for just £5.

Holidays / Special Events

Now, for the grand finale, as Halloween is coming up so here are some of the best nights out that you can choose from.
